Conceptual Maps (CMs) are graphical tools that help organize and present knowledge. They emerged in the context of investigating students' prior knowledge about scientific concepts and are now applied in the most different sectors of society. However, in the Brazilian educational context, especially in teacher training courses (initial and continuing), the didactic-pedagogical potential of this tool is still little known and explored. Thus, the objective is to investigate the use of concept maps in the context of teacher training, as well as to promote continuing education in order to explore the CMs as evaluative instruments. For this, short-term workshops were developed and applied in different training contexts, resulting in an educational product structured in six stages and with a total workload of 20 hours/class. Among the main results obtained, the following stand out: in fact, there is a gap in the training of the investigated teachers with regard to concept maps and their use in the classroom, especially among those in continuing education; it was possible to develop and implement six short-term training activities for teachers from different areas; in general terms, it was observed that the professors completing the workshops presented a qualitative leap in the development of conceptual maps; there is an urgent need to adapt and apply the workshop from an inclusive perspective, especially for people with hearing impairments; development of an educational product entitled “Conceptual maps: theory and practice in teacher training”.

This work presents a proposal for a didactic resource, in the format of an RPG game, to approach Thomson's atomic model. The game, created using the RPG Maker MV software, is entitled “Thomson's atomic model” and presents a variety of scenarios and experiences involving the discussion of chemical content related to the theme. To enable the application of the resource and obtain information about its didactic-pedagogical potential, a sequence of activities was planned that was developed with students from a state school in the interior of RN (EscEstRN), in a class of the first grade of regular high school. The sequence of activities was designed to consider the use of different resources, such as experimentation, audiovisual tools, didactic texts originally written by Thomson and, finally, the digital game proposed in this work. In order to gather information about the students' impression of the experience with the game, a questionnaire with multiple-choice questions was applied, in which students could attribute a degree of satisfaction to aspects of the game. The data were computed and organized in graphs for a better visualization of the aspects preferred by the participants about the resource. The partial results indicate great acceptance by the target audience, highlighting, mainly, criteria such as the game's script, the graphic resolution, the level of difficulty, and the importance of the resource for the study of the addressed content. As a further stage of the research, we intend to obtain information about the perception of Basic Education teachers about the game through the application of an open questionnaire.

When teaching about Pascal's Principle in High School, Basic Education teachers are faced with some situations: divergences regarding the validity of the Principle in didactic materials and gaps with regard to a historical-philosophical approach. When dealing with this content, the books also bring historical distortions not always perceived by teachers, which can result in naive views about science and about the relationship between science and technology. Considering facing these difficulties as a focus issue, we proposed an educational product aimed at teacher training, which addresses Pascal's Principle from a multicontextual, historical, philosophical and conceptual point of view. We bring teachers in training the possibility of knowing relevant aspects of Blaise Pascal's life and, more specifically, the context of the investigations in which his contributions to the Principle took place. We resorted to the interpretation of original excerpts from Pascal, in order to highlight the author's contributions to the Principle, as we currently understand it, as well as differences between Pascal's conception and the current statement. Thus, there is the perception that the Principle and its mathematization result from a collective historical construction. Additionally, based on analytical considerations aimed at this target audience, we considered the possibility of overcoming the differences regarding the validity of Pascal's Principle observed in textbooks.

This work is centred by the interfaces of the History of Mathematics Education (HEM) and presents a historiography of the present time on the pedagogical practices of Mathematics in a basic education school in the State of Ceará (CE) and the external evaluation of the Permanent System of Evaluation of Basic Education of Ceará (SPAECE). Thus, this whole thematic is distinguished by the following questions: Which Mathematics teaching practices are present in this school? Do SPAECE results influence the organisation of the work of mathematics teachers? Does the SPAECE evaluation process interfere in the teaching of mathematics? To answer these and other questions, the general objective of this work is to make a historiographic record of the relationships between the teaching practices of teachers who teach Mathematics and the SPAECE external evaluation on a large scale. The specific objectives are: to verify which are the existing Mathematics teaching practices through observation and listening of teachers who are inserted in the classroom context; to publicize these practices and understand the place of educational public policies of evaluative monitoring and; discuss the teaching of Mathematics in the face of external evaluations on a large scale. This research has a qualitative character and, as a methodological research strategy, we used bibliographic research, participatory observation and semi-structured interviews. Some teachers who teach Mathematics in this school were interviewed. As results, presence of an intense agenda of external assessments on a large scale within the school and that this model is culturally established, and that the main teaching tool for preparing students for these assessments is to simulate previous exams, and that although the external evaluation favors a direction, it ends up inducing teachers to develop a mathematics curriculum that is aligned to the matrices of this assessment, in addition to holding these agents responsible for the success and/or failure generating a "climate of tension", still in view of this record we realize that many of the practices are reproduced hereditarily. One of the requirements for who makes Professional Master is the development of an Educational Product (EP), we opted for the elaboration of a Guide of Elaboration/Use of Didactic Sequences: conciliating demands of Mathematics teaching and that in its core we present some discussions about these demands and, we present as a suggestion of methodology and application of a Didactic Sequence (SD) aimed at students of primary schools final years, about equations of the second degree and that includes some interactive digital activities.

This master's thesis deals with the application of activities on the evolution of the concept of logarithm in Brazilian textbooks of the last century. The central question of the research was: what are the meanings that can be produced from a didactic sequence involving the history of teaching logarithms in Brazil? Data collection took place in a real teaching context: classes in the mathematics teacher training course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil). We were inspired, therefore, by the methodology of action research to collect data (oral and written) that were analyzed according to concepts present in the Theoretical Model of Semantic Fields. Our methodology was based on action research and the collected data (oral and written) were analyzed using the Theoretical Model of Semantic Fields. In this way, we observed that the research participants could see two mathematical concepts, that is, two logarithms, given the different form of their approach in the chosen textbooks. In addition, students realized that logarithms are now far from their historical arithmetic constitution, approaching a more algebraic definition.

Providing pedagogical practices in Mathematical Education consistent with Inclusive Education is increasingly essential in the school environment. Likewise, this research has the purpose of discussing the pedagogical possibilities of a Didactic Sequence that contemplates Educação Financeira, from an inclusive perspective, in the early years of Ensino Fundamental. Therefore, the present study is inserted in the qualitative approach of educational research, configuring itself as a collaborative research. The theoretical referential thought to be based on studies on Inclusive Education, or Universal Pedagogical Design, Problem Solving and Financial Education. The proposal is also supported by studies alluding to the concept of mediation present in the Historical-Cultural Theory. Because it is a Professional Master, there is a requirement for the elaboration of an Educational Product, in case of research in evidence it will result in a didactic sequence. As central contents addressed in didactic material, we will have Educação Financeira, based on the Universal Pedagogical Design. The methodology chosen in Baseou was a collaborative research involving three professors. For data collection, we used interviews, photographic records, document analysis and questionnaires that were applied by the professors participating in the research, focusing on their training and their professional experiences. Then, they were held formative meetings that will deal with teaching practice, teaching strategies, didactic sequence and its construction. Our Educational Product was applied to a 4th year class of a municipal education network school, in the city of Natal/RN, located in the Eastern Zone, in the Upper City neighborhood. We understand that it purposefully fulfills its role of promoting or teaching Financial Education, with elements of Inclusive Education, focusing on social interaction through communication, and on the construction of a collective and collaborative mathematical knowledge. In addition, throughout the course of the research, I also sought to rethink the meaning of two materials used during the classroom and the pedagogical mediation in the school context.

This research aims to analyze the pedagogical possibilities of an accessible gamebook based on the Universal Pedagogical Design for teaching and learning Mathematics in an inclusive perspective, in the final years of elementary school. For this purpose, we adopted a qualitative approach in a collaborative perspective nuanced with some characteristics of the research on the practice itself. The theoretical references has three main axes: the use of Role Playing Game (RPG) in Mathematics classes, with Fernandes (2017) and Mauricio (2012), the Problem Solving enunciated by Onuchic (2013) and Van de Walle (2009) and the Universal Pedagogical Design (DUP) in the context of school inclusion developed by Kranz (2015), passing through works by other authors related to Historical Cultural Theory, Easy Writing/Reading, Mathematics Education and Inclusive Education. As we are part of a professional Master's degree, it is necessary to develop an educational product, and for this we have created a game book, which aims to highlight the potential of reading and imagination in the RPG game, in facing mathematical challenges, related to the 1st degree equation, based on problem solving and structured from the DUP, using the principle of easy writing/reading. The development of the research takes place in a state school, in Natal/RN, with a group from the 7th year of Elementary School. As a collection instrument we will include structured questionnaires, participant observation and personal productions of students, as well as impressions and observations of the collaborative group consisting of students and former students of the Pedagogical Residency Project in Mathematics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The analysis of this material will be based on Bardin's Content Analysis (2016).

The present work is the result of research about mathematics teaching related to the content of the 6th grade of Elementary School that involves statistics and how contents are approached by their teachers to students at this level of education. The object of study is restricted to the construction of knowledge and skills about statistical concepts in the subject of mathematics for 6th grade of Elementary School. Delimitation is put to enable research within the space of time of the Professional Master's in Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (PPGECNM). Our focus question is: how to build a didactic sequence that helps the mathematics teacher in the construction of the learning of statistical concepts and, at the same time, approaches notions of ecological sustainability with 6th grade of Elementary Schools students? To answer this question, it was established as a general objective to analyze how the didactic sequence constructed during the research can contribute to mathematics teaching in the 6th grade of Elementary School. As specific objectives, it was determined: (1) to make available to mathematics teachers a didactic sequence that works the contents of the statistics, relevant to the knowledge and determined for the 6th grade of Elementary School, contextualized with knowledge about education and awareness environmental; (2) to publicize the didactic sequence, the Educational Product resulting from this professional master's final work, for use in mathematics teaching. As a research methodology, this study was developed with a qualitative approach and was divided in two stages: (1) bibliographic research about the approach to the content in the mathematics subject, as well about Environmental Education to raise the theoretical framework that will enable the use of environment and sustainability's notions as a context in the development of an Educational Product (requisite to be fulfilled by anyone who is doing a professional Master's degree); (2) construction, application and evaluation of an Educational Product that comprises a didactic sequence that contextualizes the teaching of statistics contents for 6th year of Elementary School with environmental knowledge. For the application of the Educational Product, it used the technique of participant observation and for evaluation, it will use a private questionnaire that will be answered by the research participants (initial and continuing education). In conclusion, it was found that the teaching of statistics content is usually reproduced mechanically and without considering the construction of critical thinking in the act of reading and interpreting the data, facts that do not comply with the didactic reference established by the norms of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) for the development of school studies on statistics in the area of mathematics. In addition, it was found that the Federal Constitution and Law n. 9,795/1999, when talk about Environmental Education, treat it as mandatory in the choice and management of pedagogical strategies for all subjects, including, therefore, mathematics. This findings presents a broad need for the development of materials that meet this determination and reinforces the importance of the our Educational Product proposal of the construction and wide dissemination of this study.

In recent decades, several games have been used in classrooms to help educators, aiming to encourage young people's interest and stimulation of school knowledge in a potentially playful and interactive way. From this perspective, the development of Pedagogical Role Playing Games (RPG) has become a methodological alternative within the teaching and learning process. RPG presents some categories, such as: live action (staging), digital (computers and consoles) and tabletop (game with board and tokens). In this research, a tabletop RPG was developed as a collaborative role-playing game, which was presented as a low-cost opportunity, with the potential to engage, stimulate and develop different skills, such as multiple intelligences, useful in life in society, such as creativity, imagination and collaboration. With this work, the objective was to develop an educational product in the form of a pedagogical RPG. To this end, narratives containing conceptual elements of the Chemistry discipline were developed and scenarios inspired by some of the environmental problems that are part of the daily life of the high school community of a state public school in the state of Rio Grande do Norte were developed, within the component elective in full-time school. The research was qualitative. Questionnaires, logbook and observation protocols were used as data collection instruments. During the applications of the RPG 'Caverna do Alquimista', it was observed that the students engaged in the activities developed by the teacher/teacher, and thus, they were guided to understand Chemistry Contents based on everyday situations. At the same time, it was possible to stimulate multiple intelligences: Logic-mathematics; Linguistics and Space.

This dissertation presents the theoretical foundations used in the elaboration and evaluation of a planetarium session in flat screen video format on the theme “The bees and the Skies”, aimed at the general public, as well as the session script, the evaluation by the audience who attended its first presentation and the link to the video. The theme of the session aims to link Education in Astronomy and Environmental Education, considering the need for broader environmental awareness among the population and based on Sauvé's reflections (1997, 2005, 2008) on ways of seeing the environment when working with Environmental Education. To prepare the session, we used the steps proposed by Freitas et al. (2013, 2015). In defining the content and theme of the session, a study was carried out, with 81 people, on concepts about bees and their abilities to navigate the sky, among students and people in general, in RN. This process resulted in a session with a general message: “Bees are essential for life on Earth and their perception of the sky is fundamental for their survival”. The information centers covered content such as: the disappearance of bees; its importance in pollination; their use of the Sun for navigating the sky and communicating about food sources; its differentiated perception of the polarized light of the sky; cultural representations of bees in the skies; and bees in the RN. To evaluate the product, an interactive presentation was held for the general public, in which 14 people participated via Google Meet. The video display (31min) plus the interactions lasted, in all, 1h30min. In addition to data obtained from personal notes and chat about interactions, we used, as main evaluative instruments, an electronic form and, in a complementary way, two online interviews with a Personal Meaning Map (FALK; MOUSSOURI; COULSON, 1998). The data from the forms were organized into categories (BARDIN, 2006), highlighting, among other aspects, the main lessons indicated by the public that evaluated it, which covered the following topics: the sensitivity of Apis mellifera bees to polarized light scattered in the sky; how it is used by these animals to track the Sun throughout the day and communicate about food sources; and the representations of bees in the sky by the Tupi Guarani. In general terms, most of the evaluators indicated that they enjoyed the session and that they would strongly recommend it to other people. We also identified some improvements to be made, such as the audio quality of the video and reinforcements, in the interactions, around subjects such as the polarization of the sky and the daily movement of the Sun and the other stars in the celestial vault. During the session, Basic Education teachers highlighted the video's potential for interdisciplinary work in schools, especially in elective disciplines. Our expectation is that the dissemination of the link to the video of the session will reach more people and can thus contribute, in the most diverse educational contexts, including planetariums and schools, to an education focused on raising awareness about the environment.

By considering Education an essential right to the training of adolescents who are in a socio-educational measure,
Science Teaching can play a fundamental role in socialization and in the construction of knowledge aimed
at promoting Scientific Literacy (CA) of these young people. With this perspective, the research aimed to
understand the contributory aspects of a Didactic Sequence (SD) based on the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDG) for the promotion of CA and citizenship training of girls in deprivation of liberty, starting from the following
question: How does it happen? the process of promoting CA in a socio-educational space for adolescents deprived
of their liberty? The research is predominantly qualitative in nature, of the bibliographic, descriptive,
participatory type, and also constitutes a field research, as it conducts a pedagogical intervention.
An SD was produced and applied to five girls deprived of their liberty in compliance with a socio-educational
measure in the city of Manaus/AM, using content analysis and CA indicators to systematize the data.
The results of the literature review allowed us to infer that the panorama of publications on Science
Teaching in Socio-Educational Centers, from 2011 to 2021, is still scarce and full of gaps, however, it allowed
the emergence of three categories that show the gaps, challenges and possibilities of teaching intervention
in this area of study and research, namely: a) Planning of Science classes in Socio-educational environments;
b) Science Teaching as a means of re-socialization in Socio-educational environments; and c) Scenarios and
challenges of Science Teaching in the deprivation of liberty regime. In addition, the study highlighted gender
inequality in the researched area, as it was noticed that existing investigations direct their efforts to portray
the reality of boys in a situation of deprivation of liberty. With regard to the application of SD, the analysis
of activities showed the presence of CA indicators and indicated that by promoting learning situations aimed
at reflection, critical thinking, reading and research can contribute to the formation of girls' citizenship in
deprivation of liberty. Therefore, for adolescents deprived of liberty to become critical citizens, aware of
society and to take an active position in the face of the processes and innovations that affect them daily,
it is necessary for the educational community to develop actions that help in the promotion process.
of AC in socio-educational spaces, promoting a scientific and meaningful education in this very specific public.

The social and scientific issues (SQS), which emerged within the Science, Technology and Health (STH) movement, defined as controversial topics, have proven to be an innovative and essential methodology for current Biology teaching. Several Biology contents can be approached from the SQS, allowing students to develop critical thinking about current and recurrent issues. One of the areas of Biology that is little explored by the KSFs is Microbiology, due to the fact that its content requires a certain amount of abstraction from the students. However, the theme of bacterial resistance in aquatic environments shows great pedagogical potential due to its impact in several areas such as health, politics, environment, among others. Therefore, this research aims to: 1) Plan and implement a science teacher training course about the SQS of bacterial resistance in aquatic environments; 2) Develop and validate a didactic sequence proposal involving SQS about bacterial resistance in aquatic environments using the 3 Pedagogical Moments Methodology (3MPs). To understand what the conceptions about SQS are, a questionnaire was applied via Google Forms with science teachers in the municipality of Natal. The preliminary results of the questionnaire show that teachers have little or no knowledge about the SQS approach, and those who have knowledge do not use it in the classroom due to lack of time for lesson planning. In view of this, a training course was held with the teachers, where, at the end, they developed a didactic sequence with SQS themes. In the first moments of the training course, teachers demonstrated they could identify SQS issues, but reported that they would have difficulty in using the SQS in their classes due to the longer planning and relate it to the competencies and skills of the BNCC.

The present research is inserted in the context of the promotion of a Teaching of Chemistry articulated to the needs of the teachers of the initial and continuous formation of the High School. Based on this, solving problems that are related to the interest and teaching and learning of students in the discipline of Chemistry in public and private schools in the school environment, leads the teacher to seek to develop diversified strategies that can make this teaching more attractive and motivating for the classroom. It is seeking to contribute to this pedagogical practice that the use of games developed for the Teaching of Chemistry presents itself as a useful tool to contemplate this research. In this sense, this work leads to the following question for analysis: Could the elaboration of a compendium of works containing didactic games for Chemistry Teaching help teachers in choosing the didactic games that best fit their classroom? Considering this question, this research aims at the elaboration and evaluation of a didactic material aimed at Chemistry teachers in which it is possible to easily find the didactic games already developed for the Teaching of Chemistry, identifying in them which characteristics are present to be considered didactic and indicating application guidelines in view of the foundation that supports learning through games. Therefore, a qualitative and quantitative methodological approach will be used, using the elaboration, application and evaluation of an educational product in the form of a compendium, containing games for the Teaching of Chemistry with guidance for the teacher. The data collection procedure was carried out through the application of two questionnaires consisting of open questions with students of the 1st period of the Degree in Chemistry at the Federal Institute - Campus Ipanguaçu and a group of scholarship holders of Initiation to Teaching at the Federal University of Rio Grande do North (UFRN), which were treated and studied through content analysis (CA) by Bardin (1977).

Responsible for the study of plants, Botany is still seen as a discipline with little contextualization and with scarce use of didactic resources such as Non-Formal Teaching Spaces. These notes point to the lack of interest and excitement of students in Botany classes, since the excessive use of traditional methodologies is known, such as theoretical, descriptive classes and the use of technical terms, even leading to the so-called “Plant Blindness”. Faced with this problem, the main objective of this study was to discuss the aspects that involve the use of a Sensory Garden as a didactic tool for Teaching Botany and for mitigating Botanical Blindness in Basic Education students. The research classified as Field, Action-Research and Qualitative, was applied to 34 Basic Education students (Elementary School) in two environments: a Formal Teaching Space and a Non-Formal Teaching Space (Sensory Garden). The development took place in three phases: a) diagnosis (identification of Botanical Blindness); b) SD application phase; and c) evaluation and data analysis phase. It has been verified, so far, that the participants have a certain degree of Botanical Blindness, where about 85% highlight the presence of architectural objects and materials on the drawn path and only approximately 26% perceive the existence of plants on the path in question. The first results are satisfactory for presenting a method used in the identification of Botany Blindness in an efficient way, which adds another tool with real possibilities and perspectives to be used by teachers, enabling new directions for the Teaching of Botany.

Dyscalculia is a specific impairment in arithmetic learning that occurs in individuals without necessarily neurological, psychiatric, sensory and emotional disorders. In line with this, one can see in the space-time of/in the school routine numerous difficulties of students related to the ability to solve mathematical problems and certain skills with calculations – do these difficulties intersect with Dyscalculia? It is understood that at the center of a historiographical investigation with narratives, reflections about dyscalculic students are necessary, giving visibility to the eyes of the educational system, especially to the Mathematics teacher, who may have assertive actions for these students in the classroom context. Based on this premise, the general objective of this investigation was defined, which consists of elaborating a historical narrative of the processes of identification, diagnosis, intervention and inclusion of a dyscalculus student in a school in the city of Assú/RN. For that, we rely on a qualitative research, highlighting interpretations, values and human experiences. In this vein, it is linked to bibliographical and documental research. For that, as an instrument, interviews were used in order to reconstitute and narrate how the teaching and learning of Mathematics of a student who has Dyscalculia takes place and what this diagnosis demands from those around him. In view of this, the results presented take place in two axes: the voice of the actors, those who experience Dyscalculia - parents, students, teachers, psychopedagogues - the (trans)form(action) of their practices was described, in view of the reality experienced and, an Educational Product – a video – that brings, through Cordel Literature, the existence of dyscalculus in schools, highlighting the importance of this diagnosis, of their families and members of the school. The first is developed from a discussion intertwined with intertextuality. The second, in turn, underwent an analysis process with Mathematics teachers, pedagogues and Mathematics undergraduate students, with the aim of ascertaining, in the final step, the relevance of the aforementioned production. In view of the discussions and reflections raised throughout this study, we concluded that, with the narrative, we were able to perceive contributions to the understanding of the processes of identification, diagnosis, intervention and inclusion of students in the school context, because based on the statements of the interviewees, we reflected to the importance of accompanying the student from the first school activities, with the intention that these can lead to an accurate diagnosis with professionals who work in this scenario. In addition, the school will allow itself to be a driving force, together with the family, so that there are pedagogical interventions in the construction of knowledge of dyscalculus. In addition, inclusion gains centrality. This, in turn, is a preponderant axis capable of making the dyscalculus student immersed in school and social spaces.

This research studies aspects related to motivation in the school context. Considering it relevant for the good development of students, it presents Recreational Mathematics (RM) as a methodological alternative in Mathematics classes. The research's guiding question is: how can the use of an activity book aimed at RM, worked systematically and regularly in a primary school class in the final years, influence the students' attitude towards mathematics classes? As a general objective of the research, we aimed to evaluate the perception of elementary school students in their final years about mathematics classes when RM is regularly used. To achieve the general objective, we established the following specific objectives: to investigate the behavior of students during math classes before and after the introduction of RM through the activity notebook (Educational Product); examine questionnaires related to students' perception of the mathematics class before the insertion of RM; study the potential of RM for the mathematics classroom; develop an RM activities notebook to be applied in a 7th grade elementary school class (Educational Product). For this qualitative study, data were collected through field notes, audio recordings, questionnaires and student assignment sheets. Therefore, we carried out observations in the classroom to analyze the behavior of students during math classes before, during and after the application of the prepared activity book, as well as applying perception questionnaires to understand the students' view of math classes. and, also, we inserted in the school routine the use of an activity book during a period of ten weeks of the regular school year. In order to analyze the collected data, we carefully read the transcriptions and field notebook notes, identifying: positive characteristics of mathematics classes, negative characteristics of mathematics classes, positive characteristics of RM insertion, negative characteristics of RM insertion. As a result, we point out that the insertion of RM in the classroom provided changes in the attitudes and perceptions of some students and a significant increase in the number of those who actively participated in classes and involved themselves in the proposed tasks was noticed. We conclude that the insertion of systematic RM in the classroom has the potential to awaken students' interest/motivation in mathematics and can contribute to help teaching practice.

Critical Mathematics Education and Financial Education have been highlighted as frequent themes in research in Mathematics Education, both propose reflections on the contents of Mathematics in Basic Education and their forms of presentation in the classroom. Thus, this research emerged from a concern with the themes present in the Teaching of Mathematics and with the perception of a dichotomy between the mathematics taught in the classroom and that used in everyday life. In view of this, it was possible to perceive that Financial Education gains a prominent role by promoting financial literacy through an awareness of finance. In this work, we will discuss how teaching involving Financial Education can benefit from the ideas of Critical Mathematics Education and we will present an account of an intervention in the classroom on Financial Education, inspired by the investigation scenarios proposed by Skovsmose (2000), with a sequence of three activities on purchasing methods. In this way, we seek to answer the following focus question: What reflections are produced by high school students, throughout the application of a sequence of activities, which provide scenarios for investigation involving Financial Education? The students participating in the research had their backgrounds and foregrounds investigated through dialogues and activities developed during all classes of the elective discipline on Financial Education, in a public high school, which was the setting for this research.

Teaching about healthy life habits at school is essential for promoting individual and collective health, and for improving teaching-learning relationships. In the Covid-19 pandemic and its variants, it was observed, through the media and reports in the school community, an increase in cases of sleep disorders in adults and children, as well as anxiety problems, lack of attention and decreased stimulation. for studies with remote classes, also resulting in face-to-face return. Sleep Hygiene (HS), developed by Medicina do Sono, appears as a manual with behavioral measures that can help people of all ages to have a better quality of sleep. One of these measures is the practice of Mindfulness (PA), which in addition to helping with sleep, also helps with issues related to concentration, anxiety, mental and emotional stress. This research aims to study HS and AP as important knowledge to be addressed in the teaching of natural sciences, and to present an educational guide (educational product), containing a didactic sequence for the 3rd year of elementary school, with information for teachers and suggestions of activities that guide the survey of students' prior knowledge on the topics and verify the knowledge they can acquire after applying the guide. HS and AP are still not widely disseminated in the educational field, however, the National Common Curricular Base recognizes the importance of promoting health in the context of science teaching. In addition to this, it is assumed that children in this age group are curious and interested in learning the natural sciences and that by guiding them from an early age to take care of their health in relation to the proposed topics, they can avoid problems related to sleep deprivation, anxiety, lack of concentration and consequently improve emotional and cognitive issues.

Glasses are tools of utmost importance for those who use them. The lenses, present in glasses, are structures that also compose digital cameras, smartphones, and, to a certain extent, our own eyes. The study of human vision and corrective lenses has recently been adopted as a subject of knowledge for the 6th grade of elementary school by the National Common Curricular Base - BNCC, a subject that was previously only taught in high school. Despite being very present in our reality, the understanding of how lenses work, the vision problems that require them, and even the structure of the human eye are still challenging, especially for children and pre-adolescents who are developing their capacity for abstraction. As a way to contribute to the teaching and learning process of optics in the 6th grade of elementary school, bridging everyday topics for students with what is taught in the classroom, an educational product based on the 3 Pedagogical Moments (3PM) was developed: Initial Problematization, Knowledge Organization, and Application of Knowledge. This product is combined with practices that aim to stimulate empathy, creativity, and the development of a 3D eye model. From the first application and analysis of the results of this product, some modifications were made, and a new educational product was created, taking into consideration factors such as limited resources and structure. This dialogic-problematizing approach has proven to be very interesting for working with the concepts and abstractions necessary to understand how the human eye captures images, what causes vision problems, and how lenses correct them. It stimulates creative and socio-emotional skills of students in a more engaging and concrete way. Through this approach, it was possible to observe a real improvement in students' perception of how lenses work and how they correct each of the vision problems studied, problems that were previously unknown to the students. Additionally, a significant improvement was also noticed in the understanding of ocular structures and their respective functions in light capture. Finally, in addition to presenting strategies for teaching Optics, this research opens pathways for discussing how objects of knowledge with a higher degree of complexity are received by 6th-grade students and teachers.

Biological rhythms are rhythmic manifestations that living beings exert. These manifestations can be classified into circadian, infradian and ultradian rhythms, based on temporal parameters obtained from observations of temporal characteristics and by the interferential statistical method with the aim of analyzing rhythms at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, individual and population levels. The internal (endogenous) timing systems, which are regulated by the environment, are mechanisms that oscillate regularly, which alter the biological systems, configuring themselves as a biological rhythm. Rhythms that perform time cycles lasting about 24 hours are called circadian rhythms, an example of a circadian rhythm is the Sleep-Wake Cycle. Although biological rhythms are objects of study in chronobiology, this science is not so explicit in high school content. Thus, the approach to human physiology content such as the nervous system contextualized with the sleep-wake cycle, along with the difficulties presented by students during classes on the nervous system, presents itself as a possibility of teaching proposal, whose objective is to to analyze the contributions of the application of a didactic sequence in the teaching and learning process of high school students on the theme sleep-wake cycle and biological rhythms and their relations with the contents of the nervous system. The research activities were applied in a 3rd grade high school class during biology classes. This research is characterized as a qualitative research, with procedures based on participant observation and used content analysis and the T test as instruments for analyzing data obtained through questionnaires. The results showed that the didactic sequence developed proved to be an effective teaching resource that contributed to students' learning about the integration of sleep-wake cycle and nervous system contents. The development and application of the constituent activities of the didactic sequence enabled the development of the educational product - Working the nervous system in high school, through the sleep-wake cycle.

From the 21st century onwards, especially with the popularization of smartphones, teachers were faced with yet another challenge to be overcome in the classroom: sleepy students, which can lead to decreased concentration, increased irritability, hormonal irregularity and difficulty in the teaching-learning process. Faced with this reality, and understanding the importance of the sleep-wake cycle for maintaining health and quality of life, the present work proposes the analysis of students' sleep hygiene, through a didactic sequence addressing the biological rhythm, specifically the sleep-wake cycle. This research, of a qualitative nature, had 7th grade students from a municipal school in Nova Cruz-RN as subjects, bearing in mind that the development of skills on the public health indicator is present in this school year. The results obtained through questionnaires and sleep diary were analyzed using Bardin's Content Analysis. The didactic sequence developed based on the three pedagogical moments, validated and applied, gave rise to our Educational Product, to be used as support material for the Basic Education teacher. The results show that, in general, students make excessive use of blue light screens at night and, consequently, end up sleeping later, even though they need to wake up early to go to school. Furthermore, it was identified that although most students know at least some healthy habits for a good night's sleep, they do not seem to apply them in their daily routine and do not understand the importance of sleep for maintaining quality of life. Throughout the classes, and based on the activities proposed, such as expositive- dialogued classes with subsequent debate, presentation and discussion of videos, preparation and presentation of a seminar for the school community, among other practical activities, we were able to observe great motivation and participation of the students. Thus, although we understand that changes in habits require time and persistence, we can infer that our objectives of analyzing students' sleep hygiene, counterpointing questions that could lead them to reflections, seem to have been achieved to some extent. We also highlight the need to include this theme during the organization of teachers' planning, since most of the time it is not addressed in textbooks.

For several reasons, the Sun is extremely important for maintaining life on Earth, however, excess exposure to the radiation emitted by it can cause problems for human health. The need for greater skin and eye care through photoprotection equipment is evident, but it is very common to notice that such care is not taken appropriately. A greater understanding of the benefits and harms of solar radiation to our health and the factors that hinder the use of protective products become important issues to be studied. From this perspective, this research sought to investigate the contribution of a didactic sequence that discusses the main effects generated by ultraviolet radiation on human health and photoprotection measures for education in Science, Technology and Society (CTS). Understanding the CTS perspective as privileged for approaching the topic, we propose a didactic sequence, organized based on the 3 Pedagogical Moments, on the effects of ultraviolet radiation on human life and the importance of photoprotection measures. To construct qualitative research data, the procedures and instruments used were: observation with the researcher preparing a field diary; application of a questionnaire at the beginning of the development of the teaching sequence, and; student productions carried out during the proposed activities, such as class diary, research carried out by students and textual productions. The data was analyzed based on the purposes and parameters of CTS Education (STRIEDER; KAWAMURA, 2017). Our results indicated that the development of the didactic sequence provided the opportunity for the development of educational purposes related to the development of perceptions, questions and social commitments. We concluded that the didactic proposal managed to contribute to the construction of critical thinking, a position towards society, action in solving problems and making decisions based on scientific knowledge.

The treatment of algebra restricted to operational techniques was one of the initial motivators of this work. When looking at the approach used until then in High School for the Quadratic Function (FQ) content, it is observed that this permeates an approach in which the relationships and notations of Numerical Sets are primarily used to the detriment of an approach to their variational aspects and everyday situations. By reading the current educational normative document, Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), a concern was observed in the development of fundamental mathematical ideas (equivalence, variation, interdependence, representation, order, proportionality, approximation) to become objects of knowledge in elementary school. In relation to the object of study of this qualitative research, there are questions that go against how the object Quadratic Function can be treated from the fundamental idea of variation, in a proposal of didactic sequence along the lines of Teaching Guiding Activities (AOE ). As a result of a Professional Master's research, we have in this work the intentions of research activities to compose an Educational Product (EP) named by: "Didactic Sequence: Rocket Launch" from three tasks to be carried out in the classroom and extra class.
