The Professional Master's Degree in Quality Management in Health Services is a UFRN graduate program offered in collaboration with the University of Murcia (Spain). The program has an international focus, and is also offered at the collaborating Spanish university and at the National Institute of Public Health (Mexico).

 

The teaching modality is semi-presential with 90% of the workload in the distance learning modality and 10% in-person, the latter distributed in four three-day meetings (one per semester, at the UFRN of Natal-RN). The program is hosted by the Department of Collective Health (DSC) and the Center of Studies in Collective Health (NESC), with the collaboration of the Distance Learning Office (SEDIS).

 

The content addresses the activities, methodology and applications of Quality Improvement in Health Services (Quality of Health Care; Quality Improvement). It has two lines of research: Patient Safety and Quality Improvement. One of the requirements for being admitted to this master's degree is to be working in some health service in general or in the management of the Unified Health System.
