Presentation

The Civil Engineering Graduate Program (PEC) began its activities in 2009 and was authorized by CAPES in October 2008. PEC's goal is to provide master’s degree students with specialized knowledge to carry out activities in higher education, to act in academic research or industry and, above all, to identify and propose solutions to the current problems experienced by our society.

PEC has a concentration area in "Structures and Civil Construction" and professors working in the following lines of research: "Mechanics of Structures", "Concrete and Masonry Structures", "Building Materials and Processes" and "Geotechnics".

PEC students will be offered scholarships, as well as the possibility of working together with the professors of the program of research or of technological cooperation maintained jointly with teaching and research institutions in Brazil and development agencies such as CAPES, CNPq, FAPERN and others.

We recommend to visit the links "Documents", "Classes Offered", "Curricular Structure" and others of this website for more information. If in doubt, send a message to pec@ct.ufn.br.
