The 40-year Post-Graduation Program in Education/UFRN contributes to the development of research and to the training of researchers in Education, its only area of concentration. It qualifies masters (24 months) and doctors (36 months) for the public and private educational systems, among other Institutions. The research represents the privileged formative axis requiring dedication, availability and full involvement of the graduate student in academic activities. The curricular proposal is based on the studies developed in the Lines of Research, in which the academic activities are organized, depending on the projects of the teachers,whom determines the relation of pertinence with the students’ projects. The Program is recognized nationally for the quality of the work carried out, reaching concept 5 in four triennial CAPES/MEC evaluations.
