Considering their culture of multidisciplinary activities, with a view for educating and training of qualified researchers, the University's education units of the Trairi region (UFRN/FACISA and HUAB) created the POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM IN REHABILITATION SCIENCES.

This decision involved a group of professors with diverse backgrounds who came from different regions of the country and unified teaching and research in a multiprofessional perspective in the state’s countryside. This faculty has multi and interdisciplinary projects that encompass studies on health care of the population in their life cycles. The Program has a strong perspective of rehabilitation in different scenarios, involving research and often integrated actions (research, teaching and community service) which assures the multidisciplinarity between undergraduate and residency students. These are the characteristics that define the POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM IN REHABILITATION SCIENCES.
