Ementa/Descrição: Abordar os aspectos epistemológicos do movimento, caracterizando-o como um sistema fisiológico, que integra os sistemas nervoso, musculoesquelético, cardiovascular e respiratório, entre outros sistemas do corpo humano, representando a identidade do profissional de Fisioterapia. Determinar os constructos do movimento, os modelos de análise do movimento funcional, as teorias de controle motor e os mecanismos de aprendizagem motora. Fundamentar a atuação do profissional fisioterapeuta com base na Classificação Internacional de Funcionalidade, Incapacidade e Saúde. Estabelecer os princípios para a elaboração do raciocínio clínico e da realização da pesquisa científica quanto à avaliação, diagnóstico e intervenção em Fisioterapia durante todo o ciclo da vida humana
