Ementa/Descrição:	The goal of this course is to provide graduate level students with the knowledge about new technologies for research on Natural Products. Specifically, this course will cover analytical approaches on this subject. First, an Introduction to Centrifugal Partition Chromatography (CPC) will be discussed. Then, the state-of-the-art technique and applications for using CPC will be presented. Moreover, the development of a CPC system according to polarity of botanical extracts by the shake-flask method and the determination of the partition coefficient K by HPLC-DAD and TLC will be discussed.
